Dielectric withstanding voltage (at sea level):
Measurements shall be made between current carrying parts and ground as specified in
MIL-DTL-39024.
Test voltage: 5,000 volts rms, 60 hertz.
Insertion and withdrawal forces:
Insertion force: 4.5 pounds (max).
Withdrawal force: 0.4 pound (min).
Thermal shock: Shall be in accordance with method 107 of MIL-STD-202, condition C.
Identification marking:
Part or Identifying Number (PIN): M39024/2-(dash number from table I).
Operating conditions:
Operating voltage, when applied between ground and current carrying parts, is 3,700 volts rms, 60
hertz at sea level; and 1,000 volts rms, 60 hertz at 50,000 feet.
Maximum thickness of panel on which these connectors may be used is .094 inch.
Qualification: Not applicable.
Quality conformance inspection. Quality conformance inspection: Group A and B tests of
MIL-DTL-39024 shall be applicable.
Note: Marginal notations are not used in this revision to identify changes with respect to the previous
issue due to the extent of the changes.
