REQUIREMENTS:
Dimensions and configuration: See figure 1.

Resistance to test probe damage: The test shall be performed on five contacts each connector, using the fixture
shown on figure1. The contacts measured shall be the same contacts tested for contact resistance and
separation forces. With the weight in position for a 4 inch-ounce bending movement, insert the gage into a
receptacle while the axis of the receptacle is in a horizontal position. With the fixture free and unsupported, rotate
the connector 360 degrees about a horizontal axis, maintaining the receptacle in a horizontal position. After
withdrawal of the fixture, the individual contacts shall meet the requirements for contact resistance of
MIL-DTL-55302 and contact separation force of MIL-DTL-55302/29.

Qualification and quality requirements are not applicable.
Marginal notations are not used in this revision to identify changes with respect to the previous issue due to the
