REQUIREMENTS
Dimensions and configuration: See figure 1.
High Impact shock: Disengagement of the test plug from the receptacle under High Impact shock shall
not be considered as a failure.
Receptacle: Receptacle shall be in accordance with W-C-596/11, Part or Identifying Number (PIN)
W-C-596/11-1. The ground contact shall be nickel-plated.
Channel enclosure: The inside surface of the back channel shall be adequately plated (not painted) or
CRES to assure good grounding contact. Knockouts shall be provided in the back
channel located between receptacles and spaced a maximum of 12 inches apart.
Channel enclosure length and receptacle spacing shall be specified in the contract
or order.
End covers: Removable and covers shall be furnished.
Mating plug: W-C-596/13, PIN W-C-596/13-3.
PIN: M2726/40-001.
Electrical rating: 15-ampere, 125-volt, alternating current, 60-hertz.
Marking: Voltage and current rating shall be marked on the front of the channel.
Letters shall be .250 inch and filled with red paint.
VERIFICATION
Verification shall be as specified in MIL-DTL-2726 and table I herein. The first article and
conformance inspections shall consist of the inspections as specified in table I, in the order shown.
