REQUIREMENTS:
Dimensions and configuration: See figure 1.

Contact separation force: The female connector assemblies shall be supported and the test gage alined with the
individual receptacle contact. The gage shall be inserted into the receptacle and the force, applied gradually,
remove the gage, measure, and record the force. Five random contacts shall be measured in each sample; they
shall be the same contacts measured for termination resistance. The test gage shall be made in accordance with
figure 1. The force to separate the gage shall not be less than 0.1 ounce

Qualification and quality requirements are not applicable.
Marginal notations are not used in this revision to identify changes with respect to the previous issue due to the
