2.3 Order of precedence. 3. DEFINITIONS
3.1 Definitions. The terms used in this standard are generally accepted by the electrical and electronics industries and commonly used in electrical connector engineering practice.
4. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
4.1 Recycled, recovered, or environmentally preferable materials. Recycled, recovered, or environmentally preferable materials should be used to the maximum extent possible, provided that the materials meets or exceeds the operational and maintenance requirements, and promotes economical advantageous life cycle costs.
